The Perfect Gift (Ang Perpektong Regalo)

A short story (maikling kwento) in dual languages (English and Filipino) by cutiemona: It is Christmas, but Princess Red Violet Rosie cannot find the perfect gift for her best friend, Queen Yellow Daffodil! Can she find one in time for their Christmas Party?

It was winter. Queen Yellow Daffodil was sad. She was busy wrapping gifts for everyone and might not be able to finish in time for the Christmas party.

Taglamig na. Si Reyna Yellow Daffodil ay malungkot. Masyadong marami ang binabalot niyang mga regalo para sa lahat at baka hindi niya ito matapos bago ang salu-salo para sa Pasko.

Meanwhile, Princess Red Violet Rosie was looking for a Christmas gift for Queen Yellow Daffodil.

Samantala, si Prinsesa Red Violet Rosie ay naghahanap ng pamasko para kay Reyna Yellow Daffodil.

She looked in every shop, but nothing seemed special enough.

Naghanap siya sa bawat tindahan, pero wala siyang makitang espesyal na regalo.

She realized that love is the best gift. Queen Yellow Daffodil was busy wrapping gifts and Princess Red Violet Rosie can help her! And she did.

Natanto niya na ang pagmamahal ang pinakamagandang regalo. Masyadong maraming regalo ang binabalot ni Reyna Yellow Daffodil at si Prinsesa Red Violet Rosie ay makakatulong sa kanya. At iyon ang ginawa niya.

With the help of Princess Red Violet Rosie, the gifts were all wrapped. The two friends were able to go to the party!

Sa tulong ni Prinsesa Red Violet Rosie, ang lahat ng mga regalo ay nabalot. Ang dalawang magkaibigan ay nakapunta sa salu-salo.
